Use This Checklist to Make Sure You’re Ready For Your Big Day!

The Night Before

  • Wash and moisturize face
  • Apply overnight mask or deep moisturizer (if you want to)
  • Lay out all makeup products and tools
  • Charge phone and ring light (if using for mirror/selfie lighting)

Morning-of (3–4 Hours Before Ceremony)

Step 1: Skin Prep

  • Cleanse face
  • Apply toner (if part of routine)
  • Apply moisturizer + eye cream
  • Use primer for face and eyelids

Step 2: Base Makeup

  • Apply foundation (thin layers for longevity)
  • Conceal under eyes, blemishes, or redness
  • Set with translucent powder (light dusting)

Step 3: Eyes

  • Apply eyeshadow (start with light base, layer darker shades if desired)
  • Eyeliner (waterproof recommended)
  • Curl lashes
  • Apply waterproof mascara
  • Optional: Apply false lashes or lash clusters

Step 4: Brows

  • Fill in with pencil, powder, or gel
  • Brush brows into place

Step 5: Cheeks & Contour

  • Apply blush to apples of cheeks
  • Light contour or bronzer if desired
  • Apply highlighter (temples, cheekbones, nose)

Step 6: Lips

  • Apply lip balm first
  • Apply lip liner
  • Apply long-lasting lipstick or stain

Step 7: Setting

  • Lightly mist with setting spray
  • Blot excess oil with blotting sheets if needed

Touch-Ups Before Walking Down the Aisle (30–45 Minutes Before)

  • Reapply lipstick or blot
  • Quick powder touch on T-zone if needed
  • Smooth any flyaways or hair near face
  • Check makeup in natural light
  • Final spritz of setting spray

Prepare an Emergency Touch-Up Kit for the Day

Pack in a small clutch or bag for quick fixes:

  • Lipstick/lip stain
  • Compact powder
  • Blotting sheets
  • Mini mascara
  • Q-tips or cotton swabs
  • Hairpins or small comb (for touch-ups)

  • Do a full practice run a few weeks before
  • Stick to products you’ve tested and know work for you
  • Layer lightly—thin layers last longer than heavy coats
